Guidance

The goal of the school counseling program is to help students make the most of their education at St. Stephen. Our program is designed to assist teachers and parents in evaluating a student’s skills, strengths, weaknesses, and interests. Social, behavioral, mental, and emotional concerns of a student are also addressed, and plans of action are formed if needed. Teachers often enlist the advice of the counselor when faced with a particular problem or a concerning issue.

The school counselor at St. Stephen is an essential part of the education team and makes a significant contribution to the success of every student.
