Both girls and boys can participate in basketball, beginning in 5th grade. The girl's basketball season runs from October through mid-December. The Boys basketball season starts with tryouts in early December, and the season runs January through the first week in March. Fifth and sixth-grade students are eligible to play on the Junior Varsity teams, while seventh and eighth graders compete for Varsity.
